Programme requirements at the Centre are in accordance with the The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, a document put together by the Council of Europe with the aim to provide a method of assessing and teaching foreign languages which applies to all languages in Europe. These six reference levels which describe achievements of learners served as the starting point for the Centre’s staff to create courses, books and tests.
